i. Biography
Albin Gobil is a French chef who served as Chef de Cuisine at Gaddi's, the one-MICHELIN-starred French restaurant in The Peninsula Hong Kong, from spring 2019 until being promoted or replaced by Anne-Sophie Nicolas around May 2024. Born in Mayenne, northwest France, and raised in Normandy, he completed culinary apprenticeships including CAP and BEP certifications through alternating school and restaurant work in Normandy brasserie and gastronomic establishments. Gobil spent over a decade at Michelin-starred kitchens in London, including five years at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon and time under Hélène Darroze at The Connaught.
