Andrea Aprea is an Italian chef born in Naples in 1977 to a family of Neapolitan restaurateurs, who began his career at age 15 and gained international experience in London, Kuala Lumpur, Florence, and Milan. He served as Executive Chef at Hotel Romeo in Naples from 2007 and revitalized Park Hyatt Milan’s VUN Andrea Aprea from 2010 to 2021, earning the first Michelin star for a Milan hotel restaurant in 2012 and a second in 2017. In July 2022, he opened Ristorante Andrea Aprea at Fondazione Rovati in Milan, receiving its first Michelin star months later and a second in November 2023.
