David Nayfeld co-created Back Home Hospitality and opened Che Fico in San Francisco, later adding Che Fico Parco Menlo, Il Mercato di Che Fico, and Che Fico Pizzeria. He was StarChefs 2019 Rising Star Chef and a 2023 James Beard Foundation Outstanding Chef semifinalist.
