i. Biography
Edip Sigl is the Executive Chef of ES:SENZ, the three-Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant at Das Achental Resort in Grassau, Bavaria, where he has led the kitchen since 2021, earning two stars in 2022 and the third in March 2024. Born in 1985 in Hatay, Turkey, and raised in Cologne, Germany, he previously served as Head Chef at Les Deux in Munich from 2019, achieving two Michelin stars there before the restaurant lost them after his departure. His career includes stints at starred restaurants such as Gut Lärchenhof in Pulheim, Hugos in Berlin, Residenz Heinz Winkler in Aschau, and Juan Amador's restaurant.
