Emmanuel Renaut, born January 26, 1968 in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, France, is a three-Michelin-starred chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France (2004), renowned for his restaurant Flocons de Sel in Megève, Haute-Savoie, which he opened in 1998 and relocated to a renovated 19th-century farm in 2008. Previously sous-chef to Marc Veyrat at Auberge de l'Eridan, where they earned three Michelin stars in 1996, Renaut secured his first star at Flocons de Sel in 2003, the second in 2006 or 2007, and the third in 2012. He was named Cuisinier de l’année 2012 by his peers.
