Jacopo Biondi Santi, sixth-generation winemaker and son of Franco Biondi Santi, leads the family legacy originating from Biondi-Santi Tenuta il Greppo in Montalcino, where his great-great-grandfather Ferruccio created Brunello di Montalcino in 1888. He expanded the family's operations by acquiring Castello di Montepò in Maremma in the 1990s, developing over 200 hectares of vineyards with Sangiovese Grosso and international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, producing wines such as Sassoalloro since the 1991 vintage. With his children Tancredi, Clemente, and Clio, he manages multiple estates including Poggio Salvi.
