Jordi Cruz (born 1978 in Manresa, Catalonia) began his career at age 14 at Estany Clar in Barcelona, becoming head chef by 18 and earning his first Michelin star in 2004 at age 26, the youngest in Spain and second youngest in Europe. He served as head chef at L'Angle (2007-), earning one Michelin star in 2008 and relocating to Hotel Cram in 2013 where it gained a second star in 2019, and took over as head chef at ABaC in Barcelona in 2010, achieving two Michelin stars in 2012 and the third in 2017. He also opened Atempo in 2019, a bistro-style restaurant with one Michelin star.
