Kirk Westaway is the Executive Chef of Jaan by Kirk Westaway in Singapore, where he has led the restaurant since around 2018 with his 'Reinventing British' philosophy, drawing from his South West Britain childhood and experiences with organic produce. Born in England, he moved to Singapore in 2011 as sous chef under Julien Royer, progressing through roles to helm the two Michelin-starred venue, which ranked in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2016 and 2017. His career includes stages and positions at renowned kitchens like two-Michelin-starred D.O.M. in São Paulo, Greenhouse in London, and Meadowood.
