Kristian Baumann

Kristian Baumann is a Danish chef of Korean origin, adopted from Korea and raised in Denmark, who previously worked at top Copenhagen kitchens including Noma, Manfreds, Relæ, and 108. In 2023, he opened the Korean-inspired restaurant Koan at Langeliniekaj in Copenhagen, which earned two Michelin stars just ten weeks later. He also launched Juju in Østerbro in July 2022 in collaboration with head chef Youngjin Kim, initially as a Korean restaurant now transformed into a Korean fried chicken sandwich bar.
