Laurent Lignier

Laurent Lignier is the fifth-generation winemaker at Domaine Hubert Lignier in Morey-Saint-Denis, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, taking over in 2006 following the death of his brother Romain in 2004. He expanded the domaine from 7.5 hectares to 11 hectares by 2020, relocated to a new chai in 2008, eliminated synthetic products starting in 2007, and achieved organic certification in 2019. Under his leadership, the wines have gained finesse, precision, and éclat while respecting the domaine's classic style.
