Merlin Labron-Johnson is the chef-owner of Osip in Bruton, Somerset, a farm-to-table restaurant that received a Michelin star in the 2021 guide. Born and raised in Devon, England, he trained in Michelin-starred kitchens in Switzerland, France, and notably at In de Wulf in Belgium under Kobe Desramaults, before returning to the UK to open Portland in London in 2014, which earned a Michelin star within nine months when he was 24. He later launched Clipstone in 2016 before focusing on Osip in 2019.
