Nacho Manzano, born in 1971 in La Salgar, Asturias, Spain, took over the family restaurant Casa Marcial in 1993, transforming it from a simple inn into a three-Michelin-star establishment, with stars awarded in 1999, 2009, and 2024 or 2025. Alongside sisters Esther and Sandra, he blends Asturian traditions with modern techniques, earning three Repsol Suns, a Michelin green star for sustainability, and the 2021 National Gastronomy Award for Best Chef. Signature dishes include corn cakes with stewed onions and Cabrales cheese, created at age 13, and reinterpreted fabada.
