Nadia Santini is the chef at Ristorante Dal Pescatore Santini in Canneto sull'Oglio, Mantova, Italy, where she trained under her mother-in-law Bruna and elevated the family restaurant to three Michelin stars in 1996, becoming the first Italian woman to achieve this honor. Married to Antonio Santini in 1974 after meeting at university in Milan, she collaborates with her son Giovanni in the kitchen while Antonio and son Alberto manage the dining room. The restaurant, founded in 1926 by her husband's grandparents as an osteria, joined Relais & Châteaux in 1990 and Grandes Tables du Monde in 1992.
