i. Biography
Pierre-Olivier Clouet is the Directeur Général of Château Cheval Blanc in Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, having joined as a stagiaire in 2004 and advanced to Directeur Technique in 2008 before his 2023 promotion. Under his technical leadership, he oversaw key projects including the construction of the Christian de Portzamparc chai, the creation of Petit Cheval Blanc, and the vineyard's transition to agroecology. He now manages the 45.5 hectares of Château Cheval Blanc, along with Château Quinault l'Enclos and Cheval des Andes in Argentina.
