Quique Dacosta is a three-Michelin-starred chef and owner of Quique Dacosta Restaurante in Dénia, Spain, which earned its first Michelin star in 2003 and third in 2013, and ranked No. 14 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2024. He began his career in 1988 in simple restaurants in Dénia and has expanded to own Vuelve Carolina, Llisa Negra, Arros QD in London, and El Poblet in Valencia, while serving as culinary director at Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid's Deessa, which gained two Michelin stars in 2022. Named Best Young Chef in Spain in 2000 and Best Chef in Spain in 2002, he received The Best Food Art award in 2025 and a Mentor Chef Award from Michelin Guide 2026.
