Ricardo Costa is the Executive Chef at The Yeatman Hotel in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, where he has led the gastronomic restaurant to two Michelin stars since 2017, following the first star awarded in 2011. Born in 1979 in Aveiro, Portugal, he trained at the School of Hotel and Tourism in Coimbra and built his career through roles in Portugal, Madeira, Spain, and the UK, including earning his first Michelin star as Executive Chef at Restaurant Largo do Paço in Amarante in 2009. His cuisine emphasizes Portuguese gastronomy with local products, traditional recipes, and contemporary techniques.
