i. Biography
Riccardo Camanini, born in 1973 in Bergamo, Italy, trained under masters including Gualtiero Marchesi at Relais & Châteaux Albereta in Erbusco, Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, and Alain Ducasse at La Grande Cascade in Paris before opening Lido 84 in Gardone Riviera on Lake Garda in 2014 with his brother Giancarlo. The restaurant earned its first Michelin star just six months after opening and has maintained it, with Camanini receiving the Miele One To Watch Award from The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2019 and Chef of the Year 2017 by Identità Golose.
