i. Biography
Sven Elverfeld is a German chef born in Hanau in 1968, who began his career with apprenticeships as a pastry chef at LSG Sky Chefs and later as a chef, working at notable establishments including Schloss Johannisberg in Geisenheim, Humperdinck in Frankfurt, and Restaurant Dieter Müller. In 2000, he joined The Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg to open and lead the Aqua restaurant, which earned its first Michelin star in 2002, a second in 2006, and three stars in 2009, a rating it has maintained continuously. Elverfeld previously served as Chef de Cuisine at La Baie in The Ritz-Carlton Dubai from 1998 to 2000, and holds certifications as a state-certified restaurateur and master chef obtained in 1997-1998.
