i. Biography
Vincent Chaperon is the Chef de Cave (Cellar Master) of Dom Pérignon, a role he assumed at the start of 2019 after 13 years of close collaboration with predecessor Richard Geoffroy, during which they declared four outstanding vintages including contributions to the house style. Originally from Bordeaux, he studied agronomic engineering before joining Moët & Chandon in 1999 as an assistant winemaker in Champagne and moving to Dom Pérignon in 2005. He emphasizes a winemaking philosophy rooted in vineyard observation, harmony, aesthetic ideal, and blending technique with emotion to honor Dom Pérignon's legacy of balance through fruit, blend, and time.
