Yoshihiro Narisawa is the chef and owner of the Tokyo restaurant Narisawa, which pioneered 'Innovative Satoyama Cuisine' by blending classical French techniques with seasonal Japanese ingredients from satoyama ecosystems. Born on April 11, 1969, he trained in Europe under chefs like Frédy Girardet, Joël Robuchon, and Paul Bocuse before opening his first restaurant, Les Créations de Narisawa, in 2003, later renamed Narisawa. The restaurant has held two Michelin stars since 2010, earned a Michelin Green Star for sustainability, and was ranked No. 1 on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants in 2013.
